Recently, Motorola launched a new flagship device – the Motorola X30 Pro – in China. This is the first phone in the world to feature a 200MP camera, which is a huge selling point for those who like big numbers. Now, this 200MP camera phone could get a global launch with another two devices.

Motorola has posted a video teaser with the caption “Find yourself closer to the edge…September 8”. This is a clear reference to the Motorola Edge series and a launch date of 8 September 2022. The company also showed the silhouette of three smartphones in the teaser, implying that there would be three smartphones unveiled on that day.

Sources claim that two of the devices could be the Moto X30 Pro and Moto S30 Pro, rebranded for the global market. The Moto X30 Pro is a flagship device with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, 200MP main camera, and 4610mAh battery. On the other hand, the Moto S30 Pro features last year’s Snapdragon 888+ chipset, a 50MP main camera, and a 4400mAh battery.

Mind you, we can’t confirm the exact models yet. But could one of the be an upgrade to the Moto Edge 30 Pro launched in Malaysia earlier this year? Let us know what you think in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for further news on this.
