VIVO not only designs and sells top-end smartphones but also low-end as well as mid-range models. Moreover, its Y line is very popular and has already won customers’ hearts in many regions. One of them is Singapore. Recently, the manufacturer announced a new entry-level smartphone namely the VIVO Y15s in this market. Though we are dealing with a low-end model, there are a few interesting features we should take a look at.
VIVO Y15s Features
In terms of appearance, the VIVO Y15s is not anything outstanding but simpleton. It comes with dimensions of 163.96×75.2×8.28mm and weighs just 179 grams. As said above, one of the selling points is the 6.51-inch IPS LCD display offers a 20:9 larger aspect ratio and an HD+ resolution. Also, the display has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The water-drop area hosts a front camera. On the side, we can also find a fingerprint scanner.
Inside, the VIOV Y15s features an octa-core Helio P35 processor. In its turn, the chip is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage. But you can expand the latter through a microSD card slot. The battery capacity is quite impressive at 5000mAh, which supports only 10W charging.
The Vivo Y15s is available in Wave Green and Mystic Blue colors. The price is SGD 179 ($133) in Singapore. The phone is already available for purchase.
As for photography, our protagonist comes with a dual-camera module. It includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with a 4cm focal length. There is also an LED flash. There are a few camera features such as Pano, Face Beauty, Live Photo, Time-Lapse, and so on.
VIVO V23e Launched As Well
Apart from this model, the manufacturer also released the V23e. As the name suggests, it is a follow-up model to the VIVO V21. It can boast of an ultra-slim at just 7.36mm thickness and weighs only 172 grams. This model is announced in Vietnam only. But we have no information about when it will go on sale.
In Vietnam, it is available for 8,490,000 VND ($374). This model is available in a single 8GB RAM variant with 128GB of internal storage. But you can choose from two color options of Moonlight Shadow (Black) and Sunrise Melody (Blue Rose).
Besides this, the 6.44-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution hosts a 50MP autofocus-enabled front shooter that comes with an f/2.0 aperture. On the back, it carries a triple-camera, consisting of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro camera. Under the hood, the phone packs an Helio G96 chipset.
