Android 12 update is coming to Infinix smartphones. This is good news as devices from this company rarely get updated to the latest Android version.
Infinx shared a rollout plan for when its devices will get updated to Android 12 starting this month. The company is scheduling the Android OS upgrade to its premier flagship Zero series and its midrange Note series starting next week.
Infinix Note 11 and Zero 5G will get the update during the first week of September.
To ensure a stable upgrade, the rollout will first happen through a Fan’s beta version, available for download for all. Check the key dates above for Zero 5G, Note 11 and Note 12 beta release. Post the beta, a full rollout of the optimized software will happen within 30 days.

The post includes the Note 12 for some weird reason even though it launched with Android 12 already baked in.
The other two phones came with Android 11 straight out of the box and the upgrade will be welcome to consumers who bought the phones.
Even though Android 13 launched last month, this is still a huge update for Infinix devices.
It is unknown if the Hot series will get the Android 12 update later this year.
