Google usually launches its next-generation Pixel smartphones in October and it seems that the company is planning to follow the same for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones as well. FrontTechPage website has tipped the pre-order and sale date for the upcoming Pixel smartphones ahead of the official launch.

The website claims that Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 pro will likely go on pre-order starting October 6 and will be available for purchase October 13 onwards. Although the website does exactly mention the launch date for the upcoming Pixel series phones, we expect that Google will launch them before or on October 6.

If the above dates for the sale are correct, this means that Google will be launching the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro a couple of days before compared to Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro in October 2021.

What we know about Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro
Google announced its flagship Pixel series smartphones Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro at its annual developers event, Google I/O 2022, in May this year.

At the event, the company confirmed the two smartphones and also gave us the first glimpse of the design. As per the official image showcased, the handsets will feature slightly different design and rear camera setup.

Previous leaks and rumours have also revealed that the handsets will be powered by Google’s own Tensor series chipset and sport brighter display compared to the previous generation devices. In addition to this, the Pixel 7 duo is also expected to come equipped with a foldable rear camera sensor.
